In case he wants something different from chips, bean dip or TV-dinners :)Karin Andersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08328101125789534921noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1266479675389453667.post-57929945698729723622012-10-06T01:47:07.792-04:002012-10-06T01:47:07.792-04:00I just love your eggwash + rolled oats and the sla...I just love your eggwash + rolled oats and the slashing! Very beautiful bread Karin! I too reduced the honey but I do like a sweet bread paired with some hearty stuff ON it ;-)Karen Baking Sodahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10648275442628223581noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1266479675389453667.post-37632716321446999302012-10-05T19:28:49.420-04:002012-10-05T19:28:49.420-04:00Thanks, Hanaâ!

If you sprinkle them on and score afterwards, your knife snags all the time because they are in the way.Karin Andersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08328101125789534921noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1266479675389453667.post-72795933129899628822012-10-05T12:29:38.924-04:002012-10-05T12:29:38.924-04:00Lovely loaf, Karin!!! I think that will help create a good "slash" and reduce the chance of butchering the dough right before baking (because of the existing "mini slash"). I'm also writing down baking this bread at 350F next time. I liked the sweetness from the honey in the bread but did feel like I was eating "dessert" rather than bread, ha ha.Hanaâhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15660317268731033542noreply@blogger.com
